Terms of use

Last updated 22/08/2026

Who these terms apply to

In A Bit Hub is provided by In A Bit to its staff and to authorised users at client organisations. By signing in you accept these terms. Where a separate written agreement exists between In A Bit and your organisation, that agreement takes precedence over anything inconsistent here.

Accounts and access

  • Accounts are granted by an administrator. Self-registration alone gives no access to any organisation.
  • Accounts are personal. Do not share credentials or let anyone else use your account.
  • Administrator accounts must hold a second authentication factor; recovery codes must be stored securely.
  • Tell us immediately at iabadmin@inabit.tech if you believe an account or device has been compromised.
  • Access ends when your engagement or employment ends, or when an administrator deactivates the account.

Acceptable use

  • Use the Hub only for legitimate delivery, governance and support work.
  • Do not attempt to access data belonging to another organisation or project you are not a member of.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission.
  • Do not upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing or offensive.
  • Do not upload special category personal data or payment card data.
  • Do not use automated means to extract data at scale.

Your content

Content entered by a client organisation remains that organisation's property. In A Bit uses it only to provide and support the service, and handles personal data within it as described in the privacy notice.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you enter, and for ensuring you are entitled to upload any file you attach.

Uploads and scanning

Uploaded files are quarantined and inspected before they can be downloaded. Files identified as harmful are deleted and the event is recorded. We may refuse or remove any upload that breaches these terms.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Hub available during business hours and to give notice of planned maintenance where we can, but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability unless a separate service level has been agreed in writing. We may change or withdraw features as the product develops.

Monitoring

Security-relevant activity is logged to an audit trail, including who accessed or changed records and when. We review these logs for security and accountability purposes.

Suspension

We may suspend or withdraw access immediately where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, an account has been compromised, or continued access presents a security risk.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, liability between In A Bit and a client organisation is governed by the written agreement covering the engagement.
